 Overview of the program:
The professional sports teams in your area are willing to give non-profit groups and organizations in the region discounted game tickets to sell as a fundraiser. These tickets are generally below any advertised price, giving your team/group/organization the ability to sell tickets below face value while keeping part of the proceeds to fund uniforms, equipment, field/court improvements, community programs, etc. And, best of all, there is very little effort required with no investment and no obligation to purchase any minimum number of tickets!

- Tickets are provided free of charge - simply return proceeds from the ticket sales and any remaining unsold tickets to us by a certain date (some teams may not offer tickets upfront).

Breakdown of how it works:
Professional teams distribute the tickets in one of three ways: consignment, order form, or online. Under consignment, the groups/organizations are given a certain number of tickets to sell at a price below face value. The professional team sets aside this block of tickets, with any unsold tickets needing to be returned by a certain date. The groups/organizations keep a certain amount per ticket sold and return the rest to the professional team. Order forms allow your group/organization to get commitments from ticket buyers before receiving tickets and, thus, eliminate the hassle of returning unsold tickets. With online fulfillment, groups/organizations provide ticket buyers with online access via login information or promotional codes. The transaction is completed online and the groups/organizations receive a certain amount per ticket sold.
Here is a sample financial breakdown using any method (exact details, ticket prices, and discounts will vary by team):
$25.00 - face value of ticket
$20.00 - amount for which team sell each ticket
$15.00 - amount the professional team keeps for each ticket sold
$5.00 - amount the teams raise for each ticket sold
Under this sample breakdown, if 15 members of the varsity soccer team sell just 6 tickets each to family, friends, and local businesses, the team will raise $450 for essentials like uniforms and equipment.
